“Altis Grand Central is the result of our ongoing dialogue with the community and our desire to extend amenities beyond Altis Grand Central to the greater Grand Central District. We are proud to incorporate into our plans Grand Central Avenue and Snow Park streetscape and landscape enhancements, themed lighting, burying the overhead utility lines along Grand Central Avenue, and adding needed improvements to the Cleveland Street HART bus stop.”
– Jeff Roberts, President, Altman Development Company
“Altis Grand Central is a superb example of the process working and what can happen when divergent constituencies come together for community development, not just development. The neighborhood spoke, and the Altman Development Company listened and responded. Altis Grand Central represents the next generation of this great Tampa neighborhood.”
– Maryann Ferenc, Owner, Mise En Place
“As part of a congregation serving Tampa and the Grand Central District for over 150 years, I am very excited about the positive impact the new residential and commercial development will have on our community. Altis Grand Central looks like it will bring a true neighborhood environment to the Grand Central District – something that we, and others in the area, have been trying to foster for many years. The addition of Altis Grand Central, with residential units, commercial space, and transportation improvements will help breathe new life into the Grand Central District.”
– Bob Block, Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church of Tampa
“Higher density residential supply is the key catalyst for a walkable neighborhood, along with wider sidewalks, interesting public spaces and destinations, and shade. Altis Grand Central checks all the boxes. And this proposed community is consistent with the City of Tampa’s Comprehensive Plan, the City’s InVision Tampa plan and the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) recommendations for a vibrant downtown Tampa. Altis Grand Central is exactly what the Grand Central District needs.”
